The Metadata Manager enables Content Manager to customize the metadata fields available for entry in video, audio and image assets. To access the Metadata Manager click your User Name in the upper right-hand menu to access your Account Settings. In the Account Information and Settings panel click the Metadata MGR. tab. To create a new Metadata field, click the + Add Fields button. Enter the new Metadata field name in the Label field, select the field Type (Text, Dropdown, Checkbox, Radio Button), select the Asset Type (Video, Image, Audio) and lastly whether the field entry is mandatory. If so, click Yes in the Required field and if not, leave the selection as No. Now click Apply to create the new Metadata Field. Content Managers can also Edit existing Metadata fields by clicking the Edit button next to the Metadata label they want to edit. Metadata lists can also be imported as a CSV file. To create the proper formatted import list, see the Sample table as an example or click the "Click here to export your current Metadata" link (above it) to export a properly formatted document. Make sure to save your document as a csv file before you click the Import button.
